del.icio.usが落ちた

今朝（San Francisco時間）、del.icio.usを立ち上げたら挙動がおかしい。暫くしたら全くアクセス出来なくなった。del.icio.usのBlogを見ると、データセンターの電源が落ちたようである。

明けて現在木曜午前3時前。どうやら復旧してる模様。del.icio.usのBlogに、

PS -- we are obviously not yet on the Yahoo! infrastructure, and this is exactly the kind of stuff they can do a lot better for us (and you.)

とあった。今後Yahooのインフラに入ったら、確かに稼動は超安定しそうである。

11月の頭前後に、TypePadもインフラの問題で数週間パフォーマンスが落ちたことがあった。その時も書いたが、Small StartのWeb2.0企業もScalabilityやRedanduncyを考慮したインフラの構築は欠かせない。今後、アプリ間の連携がより密になって行けばなおさらである。
